Request for support for EIT Food's Gender Mainstreaming Policy and Action Plan

We are looking for one or more providers who can deliver the following services:

1. Conceptualisation of the methodology of data gathering and data collection strategy on number of innovative products/ services designed or tested, by gender of CEO or owner, number of innovation KAVAs including gender dimension in project description;
2. Mapping all gender mainstreaming initiatives within EIT Food;
3. Assessing the level of implementation of each activity within the GAP;
4. Preparation of the report containing results from the monitoring performed, including recommendation for the future Gender Action Plan;
5. Creation of the methodology and performance of the co-creation of the Gender Action Pland 2025-2027.

The framework agreement would include the development of the above tasks, and upon agreement for further execution of said services.

Request

Interested services providers should submit a proposal detailing:

1. Their approach to delivering the services listed above
2. Examples of past work that demonstrate their ability to deliver these services
3. A projected timeline and budget

Please note that the provider should be able to demonstrate:

• Min. 10 years of professional experience at national and/or international level in the area of gender equality and gender mainstreaming
• Proven experience in conducting research and drafting written products on the topic of gender equality
• Strong research and analytical skills, as well as excellent written communication abilities in English
• Experience in creating Monitoring and Evaluation System for Gender Equality Plans in research and innovation institutions
• Experience in facilitating co-creation process with diverse pool of stakeholders coming from various countries
• Experience in creating Gender Equality Plans for different institutions and organisations, including publicly funded institutions.
• Strong knowledge of EIT Community and agrifood sector would be an asset

Timeline

The specific timeline will be agreed with the selected Consultant taking into consideration the proposed methodology, but the first draft of the evaluation report has to be presented by 15th December 2024 and the first draft of Gender Action Plan 2025-2027 should be delivered by the 15th June 2025.
