Biotechnologies: Shaping the Future of Food in Europe

October 16 | h.14:30 - 15:20

Join our panel to understand how biotechnologies will impact the future of food and Europe.

In October 2023, Biotechnologies were listed in the top 4 most critical technologies for the future of Europe ; in March 2024, the EU Commission proposed a series of targeted actions to boost biotechnology and biomanufacturing in the EU. Even if developments of biotechnologies applied to food are still very recent, one anticipates that they will impact the sector like no other technology before. Join us to understand what is at stake and discover how EIT Food and its members can be prepared and efficiently contribute to this new revolution to come.
