Ten startups selected to develop their internationalisation plans with Sales Booster programme

EIT Food will help them to sketch the road to internationalisation through a customized coaching and industry networking.

Ten selected agrifood-oriented startups from Southern and Central Eastern European countries will join the Sales Booster programme for this 3rd edition, where they will engage in one-on-one sessions with growth advisors, participate in online workshops, and attend a matchmaking event with key agrifood stakeholders. 

By the end of the programme, each startup will have developed a strong plan to support their expansion beyond their home market and will have established valuable network.

Southern European cohort

  • Evja (Italy). They use a seamless mix of artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive models, agronomic algorithms and IoT wireless sensors.
  • Farmlabs (Türkiye). AGRO4 VRA Platform is made up of AGRO4 Field Tracking Web/Mobile Applications and AGRO4 Variable Rate Fertilization Kit developed fully in-house by FarmLabs. AGRO4 apps generate Variable Rate Fertilization Map based on the crop needs by using satellite images and processing images with in-house developed AI by using 5-years back data. VRA Map shows different amount of fertilizer need and optimize the usage. AGRO4 Kit integrated to the old agriculture machinery applies the different amount of fertilizer in the field according to the map produced from web/mobile application.
  • Rice in Action (Spain). At Rice in Action, they have developed a proprietary rice processing technology that allows them to offer instant rice products tailored to current trends and lifestyles in a healthy and sustainable manner. Their distinctive innovation, the flavor encapsulation technology, not only enhances the taste but also optimizes the nutritional content, transforming each rice grain into a blank canvas infused with artisanal broths and various flavorings.
  • Brainr (Portugal). Brainr is an intuitive Next-generation cloud MES (Manufacturing Execution System), native and specialized in the food sector, that enables smarter processes and integrated production operations in real-time.
  • BBKW (Portugal). Specialized in smart dryers equipped with cutting-edge features such as IoT systems, enabling precise control, monitoring, and optimization of drying conditions.

Central Eastern European cohort

  • Proofminder (Hungary). AI Leaf-level Farming Platform. Actionable insights on every leaf and plant to help growers improve the yield quality, decrease the amount of chemicals by up to 80% and achieve production goals sustainably.
  • Bluana (Romania). A plant-based seafood alternative product, for tuna and salmon sashimi.
  • Cropt (Serbia). Empowering agriculture with data: Strategic insights in crop production based on cutting edge AI technologies.
  • Inspectle Food (Estonia). Inspectle Food is a platform for conducting regular Food hygiene inspections in GFSI certified food production plants that helps to solve non-conformities faster and saves quality team time due to automatically generated reports and user friendly interface.
  • Nanosci (Poland). Photocatalytictechnology, for air purification and disinfection.
