EIT Food CLC North-East is proud to announce that 8 organizations from Albania, Estonia, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine have been selected to implement activities to build entrepreneurial capacities for women in the agrifood sector for Central and Eastern Europe in 2025.
About the project
Empowering Women in Agrifood – EWA programme aims to provide women entrepreneurs across RIS targeted countries with the required knowledge, confidence, support and networking opportunities to meet and exceed their aspirations, leading them to successfully start and develop sustainable businesses.
Over a six-month period, the programme supports early-stage female entrepreneurs by providing tailored guidance and resources to help them grow and scale their businesses. Designed to address the specific challenges women face in entrepreneurship, it focusses on overcoming barriers that often limit their opportunities and hinder business success.
Application for EWA 2025 participants will open soon in April!

The evaluation process for the EIT Food CLC North-East collected 17 applications from countries including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Estonia, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
