The EU Soil Mission Israel Event 2024 was a meeting point for researchers, farmers, industries, and many other relevant stakeholders who were interested in Living Lab creation, which is one of the main objectives of Nati00ns.

Maayan Sharon, Innovation & Business Creation Manager at EIT Hub Israel, and Chen Hattav, Ecosystem Development Manager at Growing IL, started the event off with a warm welcoming to all participants on-site and online. Nestor Etxaleku, Project Manager at EIT Food, and Paula Hafner, Key Account Manager at EIT Food, attended the event as partners of Nati00ns. They both contributed to the networking part, where they presented EIT Food, and explained the Nati00ns project in detail.

Asaf Aharon, National Contact Point from Israel, got down to business with Nati00ns. During his session, he unfolded everything about the EU missions, the process of creating Living Labs, and its timings, among other relevant topics.

Participants could also listen to soil health expert Sahar Shimon, Founder and CEO of Regenerative Farming and Agroforestry, and Eric Ben Meir, Agrivoltaics and RegenAg Strategy and Business Development Lead at MIGAL, who showcased the success story of LILAs.

To promote engagement, all participants moved to breakout rooms to talk about the 2 open call of Nati00ns: Co-creating solutions for soil health in Living Labs and Living Labs in urban areas for healthy soils.

The event not only was a great opportunity to learn more about Soil Health and Nati00ns, but also to foster networking and get to know each other for the sake of sustainability.
