Workshop: ideation skills for empowering Serbian startup founders

Join our workshop to find out what startups are and what they require, learn crucial skills such as defining target customers and understanding customer needs, defining the scope of an initial idea, and more.

We’ll go into specifics on the techniques of interviewing potential customers, defining a target audience, creating an MVP using lean startup methodologies, validating solutions, marketing and fundraising best practices for a developed idea.

This event is open to early-stage agrifood startups, idea-stage entrepreneurs, or those future entrepreneurs seeking to improve their thinking or learn how to develop business ideas and evaluate their potential. If you’re interested in learning practical and effective steps for improving business outcomes in the early stages of developing a business idea, then join us for this series of lectures and workshops.

On the first day of the workshop, after a short introduction on startups, the lectures will focus on understanding how to define a target persona, and participants will work on filling out a persona canvas using the knowledge from the lectures. After that, the focus will be on validating the persona through user interviews, with a practical assignment consisting of creating an interview scenario. At the conclusion of this workshop, the focus will be on idea validation using MVP.

The second day of workshops will be focused on solution ideation techniques using Value Proposition Canvas and will also include practical assignments. After that, there will be two more lectures concluding the workshops, giving insights into the best practices concerning marketing and market research for early stage startups, as well as exploring the basic elements of fundraising, identifying and collaborating with potential investors and pitching.
