Value chain-based monitoring of smart specialisation strategy along priorities and challenges in the agri-food sector

The event will help to ensure the effective and successful implementation of the RIS3 objectives, but also serve as a forum where forward-looking professional relationships can be established or renewed between the stakeholders involved in the S3 strategy. With this in mind, we would like to invite government and public authorities, representatives of universities, researchers, organisations involved in innovation financing and in increasing the competitiveness of companies, as well as representatives of innovative companies. The event would also provide an opportunity for a mid-term review of the Hungarian S3 strategy covering the period 2021-2027. We plan to evaluate the experience gained so far with the speakers and invited guests, with a view to formulating new directions and opportunities for the agri-food sector.

Our aim is to apply the multistakeholder principle, thereby strengthening the relationship between the parties involved in the agri-food S3 strategy and creating new relationships. We will also evaluate the implementation of the strategy and the schemes so far and review the development plans for the next period. In doing so, we aim to contribute to the effective and successful achievement of the RIS objectives.
