What's waiting for you?

A stage program full of inspiration

Dive into the festival's heart. The talented speakers will make your eyes sparkle and ignite a fire to keep the entrepreneurial drive going until the next sTARTUp Day. Check out the speakers of sTARTUp Day 2023 here.

Take part in specialized workshops

A variety of workshops will be available to sharpen your professional skills with world-class experts. Workshops range from basic how-tos to industry-specific workshops.

Explore the latest innovations at the Demo Area

Consider the Demo Area your entrepreneurial haven. This is where you’ll find all of the latest innovations. Take a look and you’ll discover new products, new friends, new opportunities, and perhaps – your next career challenge.

Take part in unforgettable side events

What’s a business festival without legendary side events? The city of Tartu will become an exciting sTARTUp hub during the festival with events happening all over the city day and night. From workshops to tours and parties, whatever you're interested in, we've got you covered.

The legendary sTARTUp Night

Our afterparties are more than just events – they're experiences you can't afford to miss. Just a couple of examples from previous years are Tartu’s first-ever parking lot party, a performance by prorapsuperstar Tommy Cash surrounded by a 270° video projection, and a true Viking Challenge. When it comes to legendary moments, sTARTUp Night takes the crown.

A unique festival atmosphere

We believe the best deals and ideas come when you’re in a good mood, so in between the talks, workshops, and matchmaking, take some time off to enjoy the unique festival atmosphere. You won’t find it anywhere else.

Ewa Karólewska, Senior Project Manager from EIT Food North-East will be moderating one of the panels on the 25th: How Our Food Affects the Health of the World and How We Need to Change It

Our goal with the discussion at sTARTUp Day is to focus on how our food is produced and how it affects the world and our health – and further – how we need to change it.

What new technologies are being developed and what does this mean for the food and the whole food chain and consumer? How is the development of new food regulated and what does this mean for the scientists and innovators? Who regulates food market? Is it the consumers, producers or politics? What are the main obstacles and what needs to happen?
