Regenerative agriculture and sustainable nutrition training

This training programme will integrate the principles of regenerative agriculture with sustainable nutrition practices, emphasizing food waste reduction, soil health and holistic farm management. Through a combination of online learning and hands-on field training, participants will gain practice skills and knowledge to implement regenerative farming and nutrition practices in their communities. The training will include two main components, online training session and on-site field training to ensure a holistic training strategy framework.

Both the online and on-site trainings will primarily cater to farmers employed at the Kerevitaş farm, who constitute the main target group of participants, as well all other interested stakeholders operating in the sector are welcome to participate.

Online Training Session - 1.5 Day Duration 

Day 1: 

  • Introduction to Regenerative Agriculture;
  • Principles of Soil Health and Soil Conservation. 

Day 2:

  • Biodiversity Conservation in Farming Systems;
  • Sustainable Crop Management and Rotation;
  • Waste Reduction Strategies in Agriculture.

Field Training & On-site Engagement - 1 Day Duration

Components include: 

  • Farm Tour and Observations: Participants will have the opportunity to visit local farms that demon-strate regenerative agriculture techniques in ac-tion.
  • Practical Demonstrations: Local experts and prac-titioners will conduct practical demonstrations to illustrate key concepts and techniques relevant to regenerative agriculture and sustainable nutrition.

Participants will be given the opportunity to en-gage in hands-on activities with the support of ex-perts.

  • Interactive Discussions: Facilitated discussions and Q&A sessions will provide participants with oppor-tunities to ask questions, share experiences, and engage in dialogue with local experts and peers.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Participants will have the opportunity to network and collaborate with local farmers, agricultural cooperatives, and experts, fostering relationships and knowledge sharing within the regenerative agriculture com-munity
