Living Landscape Conference 2024

The most important event on regenerative agriculture in the Czech Republic

Tue, January 30, 2024
Prague – Czech Republic

The most important event on regenerative agriculture in the Czech Republic is here again! The third edition of the national conference Living Landscape will feature 18 speakers, including the American expert on regenerative farming systems, Dale Strickler and a number of inspiring Czech speakers. The event is under the auspices of the president of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, Minister of the Environment Mr. Hladik, Minister of Agriculture Mr. Vyborny.

The conference will take place on 30 January 2024 in the ÄŚZU auditorium in Prague's Suchdol and online. The event, which is again this year organised by the start-up Carboneg, is part of the European EIT Food the Regenerative Agriculture Revolution programme and is involving many partners such as in cooperation with the Research Institute of Agricultural Technology and the Research Institute of Plant Production.

What will we discuss:

Where is the regenerative agriculture trend moving in the Czech Republic and how does it work in practice? Is the regenerative approach economically viable, can it improve soil fertility and mitigate climate impacts? What will be the future support from local government and how it can support the whole movement? What do we not know about how natural soil life works and why should we be interested in it? The living Landscapes conference in January will open an expert debate on these questions and more, building on the success of two previous edition of the conference.
