INNOVITALY: from research to enterprise

InnovItaly is a full day of meetings and insights on the importance of academic research for innovation, implementation and sustainability transitions and on the opportunities and challenges for enterprises offered by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), and also by EIT, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, which since 2008 has been working to strengthen Europe's innovation capacity integrating business, education and research to find a solution to pressing global challenges.

The day will include an introduction in the morning on the European strategies for innovation in the agrifood ecosystem with an overview of the EIT world and its opportunities for Italian companies, universities and public institutions and public bodies, followed by two round tables focusing on opportunities and challenges for companies and research with the presentation of the two PNRR projects National Centre for Agricultural Technologies AGRITECH and the Extended ONFOODS Partnership and the story of innovative companies involved in EIT and PNRR projects.

After a networking aperitif with local companies and local producers, in the afternoon young researchers and start-ups will participate in a panel discussion on the topic of research and innovation.
