The Impact in Food Conference, organized by Foodback, will take place on November 27th this year in its 4th edition, inviting participants to think about food and agriculture from an impact perspective.

The Impact in Food Conference, developed by Foodback, which is the Turkey Hub of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Food), is a conference series aimed at addressing long-term impact in the field of food and agriculture, focusing on social, environmental, and technological issues in the context of innovation and entrepreneurship.

We use 77% of the world's water to produce our food. Our diets are rapidly changing and affecting our health. Increasing temperatures due to the climate crisis threaten agricultural productivity and adequate nutrition conditions. To address food crises and achieve sustainable impact, we emphasize the need for all sectors to come together at every event, and we continue our efforts to bring sectors together.

What are we discussing at GEK 2023 this year? "Impact" in Food and Agriculture: Why is it more important than ever? What are the latest trends in the food and agriculture sector? Which ones are accepted and demanded by consumers? What opportunities exist for the development of agricultural technologies in Turkey? How can organic farming be practiced in a megacity with a population of 20 million? Can alternative proteins meet the growing demand for nutrition? How can Turkish-based ventures enter global markets? How do Food and Agriculture Technology Ventures attract investments?
