A national event to discuss on food innovations. The food system is one of the main drivers of change in ecosystems ecosystems but is - at the same time - profoundly affected by major climate and geopolitical changes while on the horizon looms the need to feed the 10 billion people expected to people who are expected to live on planet Earth in 2050.

The agricultural sector is also the largest employer in the world and plays a fundamental role in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.

The school focuses on the opportunity to innovating the food system thorugh the application of technological innovation to the agricultural sector, emphasizing the need to consider the positive and negative impacts that can result.

  • Rural Hack is a research programme dedicated to agritech working to facilitate the knowledge and the application of 4.0 technologies to quality agricultural production that are chracteristic of Made in Italy. 
  • Open Impact is an innovative startup and accredited spin-off of the University of Milano-Bicocca that  provided services and develops digital products for the measurement, enhancement and management of impact in the integrated sustainability concept.
