The South Europe Corporate Venturing Community is a learning community for innovation leaders of agrifood companies in the South of Europe. The success of this experience signalled the opportunity to expand open innovation knowledge and practices in the region beyond large multinationals. To do this EIT Food South has created the Corporate Venturing Launchpad series, a learning programme workshop to share best practices, to identify touchpoints and to collaborate with other corporations which are part of the agrifood value chain in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Turkey.  This series of workshops will be a door to the international community of open innovation and corporate venturing practice. 

On Thursday, November 16th, at the Valladolid Cooking School, there will be a session led by Toni Davila, a renowned international professor from the HEC Lausanne Business School (Visiting Professor at Harvard and Stanford). He will illustrate the fundamentals of corporate venturing, efficient and impactful practices, and the alignment of corporate innovation and strategy with open innovation objectives.

In addition, we will have testimonials and experiences from two companies active in this field, COVAP, Santa Teresa, and CAPSA Food, as well as from the startup Oscillum.

Throughout the workshop, they will have the opportunity to:

  • Connect with other innovation leaders in agri-food companies.
  • Share internal knowledge and best practices in innovation and corporate venturing.
  • Discuss the challenges and key trends in the agri-food industry.
  • Explore the network and pan-European activities of EIT Food for leading companies, connecting with our over 200 members.
