Research and innovation in the area of food processing, biotechnology and agriculture
Lodz University of Technology is one of the best technical universities in Poland. It is proud to have been educating engineers for 75 years. Over 120 thousand well-educated graduates are the fruit of the work of several generations of well-prepared staff: teaching, research, technical staff and professional administrative support. We are a robust technical university with an established structure, we educate over 13 thousand students and employ 2.7 thousand staff.

Competences & Capabilities

The curricula at our Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences are unique among universities of technology in Poland. They are interdisciplinary, combining chemical, biological and engineering knowledge. We offer seven modern fields of study and more than a dozen specialisations and diploma courses at engineering and master's level, including courses taught in English e.g. in the field of biotechnology, food technology and human nutrition.
