1) What is your idea?

“Quas is focused on improving health through the gut microbiome with the world’s first kvass fermented using the sourdough microbiome. Our first line of award-winning kvass is the most diverse and concentrated probiotic product on the market today, with over 500 billion live cultures per serving from over 100 types. We aim to provide a natural, handcrafted alternative to sugary drinks, while promoting gut health and overall wellbeing.”

2) Where can we find your products?

“So far, 90% of our sales are direct-to-consumer via our website https://quasdrinks.co.uk. We deliver freshly brewed Quas directly to our customers’ doors anywhere in the UK with next-day free delivery. You can also find Quas in selected premium venues across the UK, including the Michelin-starred Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden, and the award-winning vegetarian and vegan Hendersons restaurant in Edinburgh. Quas is also available on tap at the traditional bathhouse, Banya No.1, in Chiswick, London. We are actively seeking distributor partners in the UK, EU, and US to further expand our reach.”

3) How has EIT Food helped you on your journey?

“EIT Food has been instrumental in our growth, offering us experienced mentorship and relevant workshops across biotechnology, food, and human health. Thanks to the EIT FAN, we’re now developing two new products that will allow us to scale our impact globally—something we couldn’t have achieved without their support. EIT Food has also given us the confidence to approach investors as we continue to expand.”
