Meet Vini Mini, an EIT Food startup from The Netherlands. Vini Mini offers nutritional supplements for babies made from different nuts which offer an easy, healthy and reliable way to prevent food allergies, based upon the risk profile of the baby.

1) What is your idea?

“At Vini Mini, we want to become the key player in preventive child healthcare. Our first focus is on food allergy prevention. We offer step-by-step allergen dosage kits for allergens, such as peanuts, cashew, hazelnut and walnut. These kits help parents introduce allergens into their babies' diets safely and effectively, which has been proven to reduce the risk of developing allergies by up to 80%. Our goal is to simplify this process and make it accessible for every parent, ensuring a healthier start for their children.”

2) Where can we find your products?

“Our products are available for purchase through our website, where parents can order the kits directly (https://vinimini.nl). We also work closely with pediatricians, dietitians, and pharmacies to distribute the kits to the right places, ensuring that parents can access them easily. Through these partnerships, Vini Mini aims to make our products available where they’re most needed.”

3) How has EIT Food helped you on your journey?

“Thanks to winning the 1st prize for the Healthier Lives Through Food mission at the EIT Venture Summit in Oct 2022, we managed to get funding and closed our seed round. The participation in the EIT FAN 2022 also supported us in getting our Business Model & GTM crisp & clear.”
